Where can i find a hollow-body electric guitar ?
I’ve been playing an acoustic guitar for a long time and I’m going to buy my first electric, where can i get a hollow-body electric like Gibson ES 335,355 or Epiphone Dot, Casino. I don’t want a hard rock or a heavy metal kind of sound. Or i need a solid body with hollow cavities. i live in Chennai .
can anyone help me ?
Just to get started, you can check out some of the musical instrument stores on the net. Most of them sub-categorise “electric” guitars to “solid body” and “hollow body.”
But ideally, the best thing for you to do is go play as many as you can find in local musical instrument stores/guitar shops. Be sure to check out used instruments as well, as age of the wood can affect the tone tremendously, and often, positively.
