Whose guitar came first?
I was looking at Matt Thiessen (Relient K) photos and saw a picture of him holding Tom DeLonge’s guitar (Maple Body/White Stripe from Blink 182′s days [still in Angels and Airwaves]). Well that got me to look more. Then I saw Matt holding one that looks EXACTLY like Tom DeLonge’s White Body and black stripe guitar. Minus the stripe. Well, more looking into I saw complete similarities.
Matt and Tom have both the same guitars, same color bodies, same controls on the guitar, same Dirty Fingers Gibson pickup, the only difference, the stripe.
My question is, did Matt Thiessen originally have the ES-335 guitar and Tom DeLonge took the ideas from him?
Or did Tom DeLonge have the guitar originally, and Matt Thiessen took the ideas from Tom?
I don’t know. Never noticed. wow, u have an eye for details! lol
