What’s the difference between Epiphone and Gibson?
I know Epiphone is by Gibson, but what’s the difference?

Epiphone is a product of Gibson but are made outside the USA. All Gibson branded guitars are made right here. That alone should be reason enough to buy one. I own one and wouldn’t trade it for any other guitar in the world. The craftsmanship is 2nd to NONE. They will not depreciate if taken care of. There are Gibson guitars worth tens of thousands. And the real question is how much longer will Gibson still manufacture in the US?
Epiphone guitars are also made using cheaper material, pick-ups, hardware, etc…
Think of it as Squier is to Fender.
