What’s a nice amp for this guitar? And what do you think about the guitar?

I can’t afford this: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Faded-SG-Special-Electric-Guitar?sku=517222

So I am getting this: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-G400-with-EMG-8185?sku=519397

My question to you guys is: What do you think of the guitar? And what would be a decent amp to go with it? I’m low budget right now. Keep that in mind. Thanks!

Oh, and I get all my stuff from Musician’s Friend, so if they don’t have the amp you suggest, I won’t be able to get it…
I’m mostly into grunge music, such as Nirvana. That means heavy distortion with good reverb.

The SG your gonna get is a great guitar, it has EMGs! As for amp its very hard to get a PRO sound below $500. Unless your using a modeling amp or pedal.Mabey this http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/DigiTech-RP150-Multi-Effects-Pedal?sku=156606 (listen to the sound samples) If you plan on playing without just headphones u’ll also need a amp(same ones are around $80http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/navigation/solid-state-guitar-combo-amps?N=100001+338502+7 Or mabey the Line 6http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-Spider-III-15-Guitar-Combo-Amplifier?sku=482276 Rule of thumb: Modeling beats Solid-State in terms of sound quality. Have Fun!
