identify…Guitar question!!.. my BF had a gibson, or an epiphone sg-x is what he says it is.???

sg-x gibson.. he says it was very rare maybe that is why i can’t find it anywhere? His x stole it and i wanted to replace it for his birthday… I need some help identifying his gutair… Send me a message or email and i will foward you a pic… thanks for your help!!!…
Thank you!! hey give me your email address and i will send you a pic… it just so hard for me knowing nothing about them… the epiphone sg BY gibson and then the gibson sg look exactly alike.. and he said he had an sgx.. i don’t know… i want to ask for his help but i don’t want ot ruin the suprize?!?!

can you describe the guitar a bit? I have an idea which one you are talking about. There was a gothic model of the SG a couple of years ago which had a big X shaped hole in the back of the body.

Im looking for photos but i cant find any. Im fairly positive ive a picture of one in an old catalogue at home. But if its not on the website id doubt they still make it. They were pretty rare so tracking one down would be very hard id say. Its worth a look but here is the current range of SG goth model guitars(btw if he plays one it doesnt mean he’s a goth!!)
