Which is better: Bass or Electric guitar?

Specifically the Gibson SG GT and Gibson SG 3 or the Squire by Fender Pete Wentz Precision Bass and the Squire Black and Chrome P Bass. Me and my friend have been arguing about this for some time, and I think it is the SGs.
just gennerally speaking which is better SG’s or P basses

Well the most common thing a lot of kids end up doing is trying to play bass because they feel less strings less difficult. That idea could never be any more wrong. Bass guitar is as complex if not even more complex than guitar depending how you play it.

Th Gibson SG GT is ones sweet guitar I played a few when I use to play Gibson SGs starting out. It has ok resonating but really nice lows and even better highs. The Gibson SG 3 I am guessing you are referring to the EB-0 and EB-1 through 3 remakes from the Original Gibson bass guitars. Them bass guitars in my opinion are more for show than playing on it. The body is thin so the bass has a higher twang. Don’t get me wrong it is one beautiful bass guitar. I own an original EB-0 I keep in my office inside my house in a case. But like I said it is better for show.

The Wentz Precision Bass is really no different than a normal Fender P-bass. The frets might be different but the sound is still the same. Nothing special in features or anything.

The Squire Black and Chrome P-Bass is pretty much the same thing. They both have great lows and I do adore the fender basses over any other bass guitar just because they are punchy but They both are basically fender P-basses with bells and whistles to make it look cool.

It really though depends what you look for in a musical instrument. If I had to pick out of that stock pile I would stick with the SG myself because I like the thin bodys they have and I like how confortable they feel for my hands. But I would also keep in my mind just the normal Fender Stadard P-Bass or Rush’s Geddy Lee Jazz Bass.

That bass is a bass that was built for a musician who knows whats up.

And before I forget. There is never an instrument that is more important or better than the other. One Band, One Sound. No Musician is more important, No musician is no less.
