gibson custom reissue
Can anyone identify this guitar Martin? It seems that a D28, but lacks the white stripe on the back? Value?

I am interested in the SG Reissue a trade for a decent acoustic. I paid $ 950 for the Gibson guitar is a Martin man who wants to trade. 2005 model, but it is said that custom. This is not is the model that has white detail around the guitar, but not on the back .. Any ideas? Value? Here is a link to photos http://www.jlowrie.com/martin.jpg

It's hard to say because it is a habit, and because the images are not the best. custom guitars are usually pretty good, no cheapo custom order a guitar after everything. It's a bit strange, since the band did not return, instead it is the rear as it is in two parts rather than unite. The finish is matte, which is another indication of a lower cost model. The same goes for simple dotmarker key inlays and chrome tuning machines. A strap button has been added, which for some people is a plus (especially what was in the right place), but others do not like the additions to the guitar, especially the need to make holes. I play to determine how good it is, but it is probably worth $ 950. Sorry, could not be more help.
