what pickups should i have for my guitar?

i have an SG body-styled guiatr and i don’t know what pickups to get.i’m looking for a sound for the neck pickup that it can sound like one of those hard-core metal type sound,but can still be very mellow/and/or rock n roll sound.for the bridge pickup i’m looking for something hot and similar to the Angus Young signature pickups,but not the same.should i get the 490R/490T? the 57 gibson classic with 498T?i need some recommendations of what i should get.

I own a Gibson Les Paul Studio which has a 490R and a 498T and i really like the sound of those. You can get the AC/DC sound from those as well. It’s going to be all about personal preference. I have never really played any other humbuckers than the ones that came with my guitar. Angus Young sound can only come from Angus, it’s his playing style that can never be duplicated. I wouldn’t go with signature pick-ups because you are usually just buying the name which jacks up the price. I would go with the 490 498 combo or the 57 classic. You will get the same sound out of those as compared to the Angus signature pick-ups. Hope this helps.
