gibson and fender guitars

Gibson through fender amp?
Is it a bad thing to play a gibson guitar through a fender amp? Fender seems to have some decent priced amps and i wanted to know if it would be such a bad thing to play my ES-137 through it.
No, it’s awsome dude. You’re playing a sweet bluesy style guitar. Fender has without a doubt the absolute best blues amps ever (TUBE). Stay away from a cheap amp (Cheap Marshal or Line 6) you are going to kill your tone and you don’t want to take away from the fact you’ve got a kick ass guitar!!! My suggestion is get yourself a tube Fender amp. The Fender Blues Junior is a great blues amp, loud as hell and sings and is very clean. The amp is going to be about $500. The only thing with it is there’s not alot of distortion, you should pick up an Ibanez Tube Screamer (King of all blues distortion pedals) give it that little extra kick. If you want to kick it up with some serious distortion you can always get a Boss Metal pedal. But with your guitar and that amp, concentrate on the tone, it’s a great combo, get it love it and play it like ya stole it!
