gibson 6 string bass
If i play a 4 string bass, how hard will it be to play a 6 string bass?
I am currently playing on a 4 string bass for 5 months and my dad said in a year he will either buy me a 4 string gibson or a 6 string bass. Which should i play? Is it hard to switch?
The only differnce will be mostly in the right hand since the strings are slightly closer. Their is no adjustment whatsoever besides what I have explained.
The 6-string will gives you more versatility due to the 2 extra strings although, 5-strings are more popular due to the fact that they have the added B string on the bass side for more depth. I would suggest a 5-string but, its your choice.
