fender vintage 62 strat
I have a problem with the G- string vibrating/oscillating on my fender strat?

Ive had my strat proffesionally set up about 3mnths ago. Recently ive noticed a poor sound quality coming from the G- string. On looking at the string once plucked it appears to vibrate then stops and then start again before dying out and stopping. Ive had the action set up real low and the bridge has had the wammy bar thrown away. The bridge is no longer at an angle but lies flat on the body. I have some leosounds vintage 62 staggered pickups on the neck and middle and a Seymour Duncan JB-Jr at the bridge. Ive come to the conclusion that its the pole pieces on the vintage pickups. Theyre staggered and very close to the middle to strings due to the staggered configuration. Because of their closeness im thinking it could be magnetism causing this problem. Ive cured it by putting a wound 16″ string on instead. Anybody else had this problem?

yep..g strings can be a real pain alrite!!!
