fender usa jazz bass

a mexican fender jazz bass costs five hundred euro less than a usa fender here in ireland .?
why should i pay five hundred more when the parts are probably the same but fender’s labour costs are way cheaper in mexico thus the cheaper price?
I’m very happy with my Mexican Fender Jazz. I have no plans of “upgrading” to the American-made version.
When I went looking for a P-Bass, I tried the Mexican-made, the “Highway-1″ (some parts made/assembled in Mexico, some in the States), and the American-made version. I was hoping that the Mexican-made version would sound just fine and I would save money; however, I found that the American-made P-bass sounded best. I went with that. I’m guessing the electronics and materials are better.
So, in short, you shouldn’t spent 500 Euros more unless it sounds that much better. Your ear is the only one that knows.
