My guitar amp is starting to sounding muffled and hollow. How do I fix this?

I have a Fender Ultimate Chorus guitar amp. And it worked just fine up until two weeks ago when the amp started sounding muffled with very little treble. I’ve never played it above 4, so, I’m not sure what’s going on. Can you help?

Check the wires going to your speakers in the cabinet and make sure that they do not have a short in them. Wiggle them a bit with the amp turned on and if this is your problem you’ll hear it right away. If not it may be one of your speakers going bad. I’d take it to my guitar tech or local music store and let them look at it and see what they say.
