Buying a new guitar.?
Hello, I need helping picking out a new guitar! My current guitar is a fender tele thinline. I’m getting tired of the twang that comes with the guitar.
I have about $1000 in total to spend on a new guitar. I’m an intermediate player and I play a lot of rock, alternative stuff. I also play a lot of blues, metal, and funk.
I’m not to picky when it comes to brands but I was wondering what kind I should get. I really liked this epiphone slash les paul guitar but I haven’t tried out many guitars.
What’s the best buy for the money? I’m open to any suggestions!!! thank you!!!
i might be willing to add another 200 dollars, so probably 1200 in total to spend on a new guitar!
For what it’s worth, I got an American Deluxe Strat for around that much. I like it, and it may be up your alley, but of course that all depends on what kind of sound you like within the genres you mentioned.
I don’t get to play around with other guitars often, but I’d check at a guitar store, there are used guitars which may be slightly cheaper than new guitars which fit your budget. You may like what you find, and you might as well give it a shot since you’ll probably be in a store anyway.
