Are Fender pickups wound the same for Strat and Tele?

I found a tele that has american tele pickups in the neck and bridge positions and a texas special strat pickup in the middle. could i just use american strat pickups in my strat to emulate the tone?

You could try it, play around with it and see how it sounds.

I personally don’t like the new strat pickup sound. I always ripped them out and put emg strat assembly in.
