Should i replace my guitar pickups?

i have a fender lonestar strat i do not like the texas specials i want to change out the neck pickup with a mustang pickup is this a shit idea do you have to replace both pickups all i want is to replace one

you can leave the bridge pickup in tact and just switch the neck pickup to the brand you like.

btw keep the original pickup just in case you decide to sell the guitar because some people like to have the guitar left”stock”.
