Should I get a Fender American Special Telecaster, or a Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster?

I’m most likely going to get a Tele, and I’m torn between these two. I want heavier rock sound, not a countryish, and though I know Teles are really versatile, I’d like one with more of a heavier sound. Also I have issues on the appearance of the guitar. The American Special has an option to come in Olympic White with a black Pickgaurd, while the Adkins comes in either a black or crimson, the black is too simple, and I already have a red sunburst Strat, so what to do?

Get an American Special.
