£900 to spend on a guitar?

I have £900 to spend on a new guitar and i like the look of the fender american telecaster or the gibson les paul studio. Which would you advise or what other guitars can you recomend

I bought a les paul classic about 2 years ago for £850 second hand and its been my work horse ever since. I think if you can find one on ebay or in the second hand ads then go for one of them. Its a better guitar than the studio and your gonna get more guitar for your money. The brand new guitars that are being produced by gibson now aren’t as good as 90s or 80s so look for a second hand 90s one. As for teles you can’t go wronge. I don’t have any but my mate has 3 and he swears by them. Also don’t forget the Japanese Tokai’s they’re as good if not better than any USA gibson or fender, well worth the money you pay for them. My dads guitarist has loads that he buyes and sells so if you think you might be interested in one then let me know.
