soul to squeeze song?

how can i get the sound on my guitar to sound like john’s on the song? i have a nashville telecaster with tele noiselss pups and a middle jb jr pu run through a pod 2.0 into a fender fm 65r

You need some effect pedals; a reverb, delay, and a wah pedal is what I hear in the songs. Maybe you might need a light distortion pedal for the chorus but nothing too hard. As for what order and such, your going to have to look up the tabs
