Rock and blues guitarists: have you ever heard a woman play guitar like this?
Check out the video. Her name is Sue Foley and she’s an outstanding guitarist, who just happens to use a pink paisley Fender Tele (kind of like Brad Paisley’s ’68 pink paisley Tele) and, from what I’ve seen, she only fingerpicks. Check it out:

What do you think of her playing?
At times, Sue Foley does use a thumb pick, but she also just plain fingerpicks at times. Of course, when you use a thumb pick, like the way Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed did, it’s still called fingerpicking as long as you use your other fingers.
She’s really good and makes it look effortless!
