fender style guitar
Anyone ever built there own Gibson style guitar, with a Fender 5 way pick up switch but with Gibson Pickups?
Because I would like to build a Gibson ES style guitar, but I want to have the Fender 5 way pickup selector in conjunction with Burstbucker Pro or Seymour Duncan pickups.

Well, if you’re going to put three pickups in your ES-style guitar, the five-way switch will work just fine if the body is deep enough to hold it. The wiring’s no different – just connect the hot wires to the switch the same way you would Strat pickups.
If you’re just going to have two pickups I’m not sure what exactly you’re imagining the five-way switch will grant you.
