Difference in models stratocaster?

Well I'm going to make a Fender Stratocaster of the best pieces you can find. Ive looked on websites and get a nice alder body and maple neck with graphite Graphtech nuts cost me around £ 250. Typing "Fender Stratocaster" in google I get a "standard Fender for £ 288 and U.S. guards 'For £ 699. My question is worth spending an extra £ 38 for a stratocaster right brand and the whole party and is updated to be as good as the fender U.S. '

Hello! Building your own guitar is definitely a wonderful company, however, unless that you become famous (or Brian May, Eddie Van Halen comes to mind), the resulting long-term value of the instrument will remain intrinsically the best. He does not want say that you should always consider your return on investment, but remember that you may not want to keep a guitar forever, understandably, a tool mark attract more attention than his own creation. Also, you did not mention the cost of a bridge, tuners, pickups, pickguard, or electronically for project, which could add another $ 300 – $ 400USD for the equation. The problem with buying a higher grade guitar and the Fender American Standard versus alternative Cheaper works (independent of the level of component quality, fit and finish) is probably going to change the most important pieces as their musical needs over time. I bought mine new in 1993, and over the years have changed the tuners (Sperzel blocking style), nut (LSR Rollerball), pills (for Dimarzio Virtual-harvest), the bridge (a Fender Strat-Ultra), the potentiometers (volume 500 Meg non-loss circuits treble, master tone control and a separate control mid-range). Is it still a real Fender American Standard? Not really, but now it suits my needs perfectly musical. Is it more or less valuable? Again, not very well, but I have planned to be buried with my guitar, no matter (well, that was a bit exaggerated!). The point is to analyze what best suits your current needs, build it or buy it and be prepared (emotionally and financially) to make changes in their musical direction dictates. Hope this helps a little. Best Regards, Dana
