fender stratocaster acoustic electric

What acoustic- electric guitar should I buy?
I currently own a Fender Afinnity Series Stratocaster, and an Ibanez Jet King II. So far, the acoustic I was using, was my mom’s, but it’s difficult to use. The sound is muddy and it’s not a cutaway, so I can’t reach the higher frets easily. So, I was looking around for an acoustic- electric that was under 300 bucks. I’m not looking for $299s, but around 250 or less is fine. It should be cutaway, have decent hardware, and look cool. I’m talking about a different kind of pain job. Like a faded red or blue sunburst. I found a couple of those and they looked sweet, even if the guitars weren’t great themselves. I was also wondering, could I just use the regular 1/4 in cable that I use for my electrics to hook up the acoustic to my amp? Or would I need something special?
Thanks!
well unfortunatly man with that much money to spend you dont have a lot of options. right off the bat good acoustic electrics with cutaways might be aboue your budget.
the best thing to do if you can, is be a little patient and save more money. you might consider Fender or even Martin (martin isnt cheap though)
any acoustic electric will have a 1/4 jack so you can hook that right in to your amp. if you find a regular acoustic you can buy a special pickup that you put under your strings and that will work
