fender squires
I have a Fender Squire Stratocaster HH, would it be worth to buy a standard Fender Start?
I like guitars that can be used in different genres, and the top 4 is ideal in my opinion. but my squire is a little break (know wonder when u think about the quality) so I am considering Start a savings 4 Standard. but it's worth the cost, or should I repair my squire?
Hello! The American Stratocaster would certainly be a significant improvement (components, fit and finish, playability, etc.) of your current Squier, and would hold much better with time. I've seen prices range from $ 300 to $ 600 for American Stratocaster on the second hand market (eBay, Craig's List, pawn shops, trade-ins in music stores, local advertising, etc), some showing very little use! I would recommend repairing your Squier to sell or as a backup guitar (if not too expensive), and start looking for an American Stratocaster. Sincerely, Dana
