fender squire stratocaster electric
need a good quality guitar in my price range.?

so i want to get a new guitar. i’ve had my electric fender squire stratocaster for about two years now and it came in a beginer package with an actually pretty nice amp. for two years i have never taken a lesson but have advanced GREATLY in my guitar playing. as my guitar is growing old, i wonder weather i should invest in a better new one. do you think it is worth it to invest my money in a new guitar? and if so what is the best sounding but also VERY STYLISH guitar in my price range of $200-500?

Keep playing what you have for now and save some more money. The price range you are speaking of spending will only buy a below average guitar at best. It will only be slightly better than what you are now playing. When you get to about a $1000.00 you could pick up a Gibson Les Paul studio or something similar. This is kind of the entry level on the better quality guitars. Remember this though great electric sounds come from not only good guitars but also from good amps and good effects as well. My experience with inexpensive gear is that you can never get anything for it when and if you ever decide to sell it. Save and spend the extra for better quality gear and you will never be disappointed. Good Luck!
