GUITAR TUNING HELP fender squire strat?

I tuned my squirer with a digital tuner and when i play the strings open they sound fine but when i play chords or notes especailly further down the neck it sounds awful. I even fixed the intonation but still nothing. what else can be wrong?

Your bridge probably needs to be adjusted. At the 12th fret the note should be exactly one octave above the open string. If it’s not, your chords will sound funky the further up the neck you go.

Fender Squier Strat sounds like crap!
