Fender or Ibanez guitars?
Well, I have been playing guitar for about two years now, and have finally just saved up anough cash to buy a new guitar (Hey, I’m a 14 year old earning £15 a week 
), and I’m stuck for choice.
Originally I wanted an Ibanez, after certain influences such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, etc. So, I set my mind on saving up for a nice Ibanez.
But then when I went to a shop to try it out, it didn’t feel comfortable. I just felt somewhat restricted, I don’t know why and it’s hard to explain.
What I have been playing on in the meantime however, I have gotten so used to playing it that it has actually become part of my body (Not really, but you get the idea ^^) I have been playing a squire strat, and was thinking of getting a proper Fender strat, but I’m thinking of using more Randy Rhodes/Joe Satriani sounds in my playing, and I feel comfortable playing on the Strat.
What should I go for?
There both great guitars go for whatever feels better, but keep in mind that the amp probably contributes the most to the sound along with the effect, no guitar has style of playing restrictions. And a cool looking guitar is always a good choice.
