"I can change the body of a Squier Affinity Start and if so, how?

Im thinking about modifying a Stratocaster, but want a squire instead of a Fender (for reasons of money). I wondered how easy it would change the body of the guitar, leaving the neck, pickups and electronics thereof. There isn't a lot of information on the web. Thanks in advance!
