I personally would choose the Epiphone package is only $ 15 more and I think the guitar is much nicer and more likely to retain the value and look nice sitting on a seat in his home. The other two are still good instruments, but epiphone is simply a product of high quality. Check the body styles and get what you will be happy with. The Stratocaster body style may be more attractive than that of Gibson. The also have a Fender guitar neck wider than others. Personally though, I would choose the Epiphone. The price is really good and I think it would be an instrument of superior quality.
