HELP! Please [: I am going to learn how to play the guitar this summer. Any ideas on what guitar I should get?

id play that guitar and i am a guy - it would project a cool image if a guy played it in a band fun fun.

generally starting on an acoustic, which is what you picked, it will strengthen your fingers. and make you a generally better player.. and you can use it without having to lug around an amp.

even though that website you provided said it was discontinued you can still get it from online shops and possibly in store somewhere.

edit note: in response to the dude below, this is a good guitar for a beginner and really would be considered as such. which means you will probably upgrade later. so, the years to come comment really doesn't apply. If you like hello kitty then go for it whatever makes you happy :p
