Should I put the extra money for the Fender Package:

I want one that sounds really good and will last a long time. I plan on playing Alt. and Punk in a band. Which would you recommend? Or do you have your own recommendations?
I suggest you buy a used one.
You are starting out, this could be money wasted should you change your mind.
Try them all, even if you hire each one for a couple of weeks to find out which feels best.
Or if you are a rich kid, go for the Fender (especially if you have larger hands).
Ibanez make good ones too.
