fender reverb tube

I am planning on buying new speakers for my combo amp, any recomendations?
I have a Fender Super twin reverb, (yeah, no one has heard of them) it is a 2×12 combo amp, and pumps out 120watts all tube power. The stock speakers sound like crap, so any suggestions on what kind of speakers I should get?
Keep in mind they need to be able to handle alot of power.
The Fender Super Twin Reverb amp is an awesome guitar amp with a great sound. If the speakers really sound like crap, there is something else going on (or someone replaced them with crappy speakers before the amp got to you – are you the original owner?).
I can’t hear what you hear, but it is possible that the speakers are blown, so my first step would be to replace the stock speakers. The original Jensens were pretty good. Later, I think Fender moved to JBLs…
It is also possible that one (or more) of the tubes is going bad and all you need is a replacement tube to fix the “bad sound”. Most large cities have a Guitar Center that could help.
Before you invest a lot of $ in external speakers, it would be better to get what you have working… THEN think about expansion.
