fender relic neck

can you mix different name brand guitar bodies and necks?
i have an old cheap peavey that i am redoing to look and sound like a strat relic. might keep the neck cause its nice and warn but i kinda want the shape of the headstock of the real strat. i sanded mine down to the shape but its not quite as big but still looks good. anywho if i decided to replace the peavey predator neck with a fender strat neck, would it be an exact fit? both are bolt on.
the only reason im doing it the way i am is that this is an old guitar, my first one, and it just has become kinda crapy. things are messed up on it and wont stay in tune. so i figure it will be a project and i will hook it up with fender parts.
There is no way of knowing for sure, until you try it, but I doubt it will work.
The “scale” needs to be the same.
The “pocket” in the guitar needs to be an “exact fit”
the number of frets need to be the same,
The screw holes need to line up just right,
The bridge needs to have enough room to move, to do a good intonation job,
Many things that might go wrong.
