how do you preamp an amplifier?

i want to (or can I?)plug a Fender princeton 65 into a Fender Twin reverb

If you are talking about plugging a new Fender solid state amp’s preamp out into an old Fender twin reverb then you can if it has a Line Out. If not, then I don’t know. Sorry man.
