new bass? and amp?

i want a bass that i can learn on. and i dont want a pack or whatever cuz i dont think they are worth it (i think they’ll break easily). right now im considering a fender precision bass but ppl say the neck is too big and i have girly hands:) so should i get that or something else?

Fender JAZZ bass.
The neck is smaller and faster and it is just as dependable as the precision bass.
