fender precision bass pickup
i have a fender precision bass, and im wondering wat pickups would be good for a rock pop sound.?
i dont want to stick to precision bass pickups
i changed the strings to ernie ball strings cuz they sound great
but what pickups should i use for a rock/pop sound
or should i get Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound Precision Bass Pickups for a punk sound
i would rather have rock/pop though
1/4 pounders are good pickups.
but most of your sound is shaped by your *AMP* and not the pickups them selves. Your pickups that you have would be just fine in consideration to what type of amp and the FX on said amp.
Graphic EQ’s (sliding) help you change your sound in a huge way. Knob adjustments are limited.
