fender bass white maple or rosewood neck which is best?

buying my bass in two days but im worried the bass I originally wanted was the maple neck as it looks smarter than rosewood but some people have told me that the maple will give a lighter sound when really I prefer playing with a deep sound dont want that…I am also worried that the maple will wear out quicker than rosewood neck need advice quick I am buying in two days…… website below

I’ve heard about the same, that maple will give you a brighter sound, and rosewood will give you a warmer sound. But everyone hears things differently, and it may not even make that much of a difference once you’re playing in a band with all instruments playing at the same time.

Your best choice would be to go to a music store to try to see if you hear or feel a difference between maple and rosewood.
