Problem guitar! NO SIGNAL! When you touch the wire outside the entrance, it works. Plugged in the background, nothing HELP

Have been trying to "tweak" my guitar problems. After searching several answers to the problems of wiring diagrams, control wiring Fender Stratocaster, all seems well with my guitar. For some reason, when the cable (any cable with any of my amps) touches the outside of my post on my guitar that vibrates. But when I plug the cable into the guitar there is absolutely no noise! Originally, my guitar was fine. The pills were rusty though, so I decided to clean with a comment and a sponge or material. It cleaned it up, but since taking the pills all-kicker then put back together, the volume was a snap or cut the sound is very short. Now, after checking wiring, cables Sodere have seemed loose and adjust or control some things, NOW, no sound at all! Please someone help me, I'm much in a game Panic!
