fender pickup review
What kind of Fender Strat pickups do you recommend?
I’ve saved a bit of cash and I’m planning on redoing the electrics in my Squier strat. The neck is in good shape, which is good enough reason for me to switch the pickups (no sense in letting the thing go to waste).
I’m kind of jumping between the Fender Fat 50′s and the Fender Texas Style. I’m looking for a smoother bluesy sound. (My main baby is a Fender Tele – which is obviously a bit twangier – I want this Strat to sound signicantly different)

Any recommendations? (Trying to keep it single coil throughout also)
I would definitely suggest the Texas Style pickup. They are more versatile and have more output. They’re also quieter than many other pickups.
