fender noisless pickups
fendet stratocaster pickup upgrade?
im not sure what kind of pickups i want to upgrade to, i have an american made fender strat 3 single coil pickups. i play lots of blues and some rock. I want a tone like eric clapton during his days with Cream. I play clapton hendrix SRV Van Halen Sublime. I would prefer noisless single coil pickups in the neck and middle pickups, and maybe a humbucker(in single coil form) in the neck. Or i would possibly just want to get a pre-wired pickguard. with that information, what kind of pickups should i get???
Check out the DiMarzio YJM pickups (Yngwie Malmsteen signature model). They are a noiselss stacked humbucker so it looks like a single coil. The output is nice as well, perfect for Strats.
They can be put in all 3 positions, I do believe.
