Can I install 2 (new) pickups along with the 1 pickup left in my 3 – pick up telecaster? ?

The tele has 3 pickups, but this set only comes with 2, is it possible to install them, while still using one of the old pickups?
Yes you install just two new pickups while leaving one of the original pickups. Just cut the wires to the pickup you want to replace leaving an inch or two so you can solder on your new pickups. As long as you wire the new pickups just like the old ones everything will work just fine. The only issue you will probably have is the newer pickups will more than likely have a higher output, that is to say be louder that the original pickup. Just adjust the height of your pickups to balance out any major volume differences.
