Finding coordinates on a JPG to make an image map?

I am creating a web page for a class and I have to add an image map. I have the code, but the damn thing isn’t working. What am I doing wrong?

Here’s the code.

The Evolution® neck and bridge humbuckers are the result of two years of research to come up with the right sound for a very demanding player: Steve Vai The pickup that redefined the Texas blues sound

I”ve already added the image no problem, but I the coordinates just won’t work.
Okay well I got the picture to be clickable, but the coordinates are way off.Anyone know how to determine exactly the coordinates?

I actually put together a little something that explains it step by step… you’re forgetting the reference to the map in the image.

EDIT

Coordinates are based on a simple x/y grid on the picture, where – normally – 0,0 is the left top.

How did you determine the coordinates? Graphics programs have their own way to show cursor positions and selection positions and sizes.

The simplest way to get coordinates is just to hover over the image and see what position the mouse is at.
