What year is my Fender Stratocaster U.S.? No. 347,328 S-E?
Has been modified. Originally vol 1 & 1 tone pot. jack straight. Number Order in the action against the head. "This shows the neck only, ie Does the body and neck stamped? From what I could be a "prepared" but anyway I love and will never be apart.
E3 Designates the beginning 1982-1984. But there were also Strats made in Japan during those years with numbers Series beginning with E. Normally, the Japanese Strats have a made in Japan or Japanese handmade sticker somewhere on the neck. The only way to know if the body is original is to take the neck off the body and see what they are at the end of the neck and compare those with the marks on the neck or in pocket cavities collection. Most Strats should have a volume and two tone controls. Some "HM" Strats had a volume and tone along with a touch switch the coil. Many of the Strats had an electronic serial number.
