Fender Stratocaster price?

I’m hoping to sell my 97 Mexican fender strat to a friend. It’s in good condition, with a very small ding on the front. I paid $170 for it, but the guy who was selling was just trying to get rid of it. I really don’t know how much to sell it for, though. Does $225 sound fair?

I wouldn’t pay more than $150 for an 11 year old Mexican Strat…
They’re made with cheap parts,,, and the glue used to bind the wood is crap. if it gets at all warped,,, it can’t be fixed,,, it’ll be screwed forever…… If your friend will pay what you say,,,, then I guess you can take it.
