Question about what I should do – pending lawsuit in auto accident.?
a co-worker who has an expired, not suspended, just expired license had a minor fender bender in the lot at work with a woman. She does have insurance, as does he. she is saying she hurt her neck, and I think she is lying, (like 10mph) This happened on private property (so no cops) with only one witness, me. I dont think either was at fault, to be honest, I think it was more the design of our lot at work, it was bound to happen.
What should he do, get a laywer? let the insurance companys handle it? Teh reason I ask is he will ask me to court for him and I dont wanna get involved since I cant lie and say it was something it was not.
He should let the insurance companies handle it. That’s what insurance is for. If she sues him, the insurance company will probably be required to provide him with a lawyer.
