fender lace pickup
Can i put Fender Lace Sensor Pickups in my Telecaster?
Hey all
Im looking to put some new pickups in my Old Telecaster and wondering if i could put in some Fender Lace pickups.
Looking at Red in the neck and Gold in the bridge.
However they are caterogized as “Strat pickups”. Therefore will they work ok in a Telecaster. Cheers

Sure, why not? As long as the guitar is routed to hold a single coil pickup, then that means you can fit one in there. It might be a good idea to get it done by a tech though, unless your good with it already. The only reason they mention that its intended for strats, is because most tele players like their lipstick pickups instead and aren’t partial to lace sensor..
