Electric acoustic or Resonator?
shall i buy an electric acoustic or a resonator? i was wandering whether i should buy an fender dreadnought or a jay turser jt-res, i wanna go for a more acoustic sound but im not sure , im not sure about the turser cause it seems to have a more country western sound . ill be playing music and bands like foo fighters and Kings of leon, can you guys help or suggest some other models? the main reason id go for the turser is cause matt bellamy uses it in the plug in baby video, but i dont mind looking at other models

The resonator guitar is a very special type sound that is good for acoustic blues, and bluegrass. It is hard to play lead on and is rather shrill if you play it plainly. I would advise you get the Fender and then later if you want to learn blues or bluegrass or want a very special sound, get the resonator.
