How can i get a good price for my guitar?
so when i was in 7th grade i bought a $230-250 dollar fender strat with the amp strings the works. Being a stupid kid not even knowing how to play i bought it didn’t know how to play it and thought i would teach myself not realizing it would be better to have an Accoustic to learn with. now i am a senior in high school and i am taking guitar as a class and would like to have a nicer Accoustic than the one that is a bit beat up. so my question is where can i get the most for this fender strat that is practically brand new or even where is a place that would trade for the same value. F.Y.I i live in washington state.

Dream on. You gear is worth about half of what you paid for it if you're lucky. That's through a private sale, such as on craigslist. A store will offer you about a quarter to a third as a trade in. Regardless of condition it's used gear.
