Can you put Fender Jazzmaster pickups in a Squier Jagmaster?

I would like to replace the stock humbuckers in a Squier Jagmaster with Fender Jazzmaster single coils. I’m thinking there could be size issues because of the little nubs on the side of the JM pickups. I already know i would probably need to do a little body routing. If anyone has any infromation please let me know.

Squier is made with Fender parts. Their may be some minor tweaks or adjustments but those should not be a big deal. Squier is Fender’s Japanese factory so it should work fine.
