What are good pickups to replace on my Japanese Fender Jazz bass to get better low end and more punch?
As far as punch I’d stick with Fender and get one of their higher-end J pickups.
Do you have a slot for a neck pickup? You’re going to get more bottom and warmth from a Precision neck pickup or a humbucker of some variety.
